Irish Life H1 2018 Claims Statistics
Cancer is the leading cause of death and illness in Ireland, as Irish Life pays out €153.6 million in claims during the first half of 2018.
We know that when it comes to choosing a Protection provider, claims payments are one of the most important things to Financial Brokers. At Irish Life, we want to pay claims. During the first half of 2018, we paid out €63.7 million in Life Insurance to 945 families for people who died, and €30.9 million to 459 people for Specified Illness Cover claims.
We know it can be difficult to engage with customers on the need for Protection, and we hope our new material will help to open the conversation. Our report is an analysis of the claims we paid in H1 2018. Although we paid €5.9 million in claims per week to people and families affected by illness and death so far this year, this report also highlights that women are still undercovered. Let’s work together to change this.Half Year Claims Report 2018 A Snapshot of our Half Year 2018 Claims
