Introducing our new retirement planning advertising campaign


We’re very excited to unveil Irish Life's major new retirement planning advertising campaign today. The campaign is based on the insight that 3 out of 5 people approaching retirement don’t know that they have a decision to take when they draw down their pension. This campaign aims to make people approaching retirement age aware of this important decision - how to draw down their pension and get it working best for the lifestyle they want.

Through our advertising, we’ll encourage customers to speak to Financial Brokers about retirement planning with Irish Life. It’s a smart service that helps customers make the most of what they have to fully embrace their retirement.

Television

Our retirement planning TV ad will start on Monday 19th August and run for eleven weeks across all major channels, such as RTE, Virgin Media and Sky. We will have both 40 and 30 second versions of the TV advert. You may also see the ad playing on video on demand while you're catching up on your weekly shows.

Radio

Our radio advert starts on 2nd September and will be played over 700 times on national stations such as Radio 1, Lyric FM, Newstalk, and on a number of regional stations. 2 in every 3 people will hear our ad at least ten times.

We’ll have 43 ads in key press titles such as The Independent, The Irish Times and The Sunday Business Post. In addition to this, we’ll be sponsoring ‘The Little Book of Lifelong Adventure’ which is a supplement running in the Sunday Business Post for the month of September.

Activity on our social channels will kick off from Monday 19th August. There will also be activity on key sites such as irishtimes.com including sponsorship of their ‘Your Money’ webpages on their site from the 19th August.
